Apollo Steel Shafts

Apollo Phantom:  This is a great light weight steel shaft for players needing to steer away from traditional weighted steel shafts.  It's my favorite because of its stepless tapered profile which produces  solid feel and excellent feedback.  The Phantom is also manufactured to tighter tolerances than the other Apollo light weights resulting in a higher consistency in flex.  What a combination with our soft SVG 304 stainless steel irons?

Apollo Hump:  "In my opinion as a club builder and player one of Apollo's best steel shafts for seasoned players is the HUMP.  In 2003 two of the four top money winners on the PGA Tour used the Hump shaft in their irons.  Today it remains a highly preferred steel shaft by accomplished players.  The key feature of the Hump shaft is the enhanced tip section which offers tip stability for improved distance and accuracy.  Because of this distinct tip feature, the Hump shaft plays much stiffer than it reads on a flex board or frequency machine.  Available in separate R and S flexes.

Apollo Acculite 85:  The Apollo Acculite 85 is the lightest steel shaft I currently offer even though Apollo does offer the Acculite 75 which I decided to discontinue stocking.  This 40 inch raw length shaft provides excellent feel,  high trajectory with its low flex point and the increased distance golfers seek from a graphite offering, yet the stability that only steel can provide.  With this shaft Apollo has successfully combined the best of both worlds, graphite and steel, into an affordable high performance steel shaft available in separate R and S flexes.
